National Engineers Week 2004
RECOGNIZING ENGINEERING

Engineers are the real movers and shakers in our world. Engineers design structures that stand up to earthquakes and engineers travel into outer space. From light bulbs to computer chips, our work makes a world of difference to human life. Engineers are practical inventors and problem solvers. ENGINEERS TURN IDEAS INTO REALITY!

National Engineers Week recognizes the accomplishments of all engineers. The College Day program highlights the interesting and unique engineering work that we do at Southern, and the resulting impact it has on society. Young engineers, just a few years out of school, are a focus of this recognition program. Speakers from various engineering disciplines are invited to speak about their experiences with engineering. Students participate in games that are organized throughout EWeek. Learn more about what events we have engineered for you from these pages.
