Description:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and laboratories; assume student advising responsibilities, supervise graduate students; develop and sustains an independent, extramurally sponsored, sponsored, research program. The candidate will be expected to build strong relationships with local consulting firms and government agencies.
Qualifications:
Position requires a Ph.D. and a B.S in Civil Engineering or related discipline in the area of Environmental Engineering. It is also desirable that the successful candidate must be licensed or be on track for becoming a licensed professional engineer. Description:
The Chair is to provide visionary leadership: to encourage excellence and innovation in research, teaching and service; to advance professional development of faculty, staff and students; to promote productive, proactive relationships with all constituents including students, parents, alumni, industry, other colleges and universities, accrediting organization and government agencies; to foster productive interdisciplinary relationships with a variety of entities across the university community. Candidate should be eligible for appointment at the rank of associate or full professor.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and a Ph.D. in the area of Civil Engineering or a closely related field, must have a strong commitment to research initiative and educational programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidate must have an excellent research and teaching record, knowledge of ABET requirements, record of strong external research funding, demonstrated administrative abilities, registration or commitment to registration as a professional engineer, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Description:
Provide expertise in administering windows XP. Server support to include Active Directory, Ghost, and working knowledge of Pillar Data SAN and Netilla. Experience with multimedia equipment to include LCD/DLP projection and calibration, AMX/Creston touch screen programming, Extron scan converters and video scalers, and various codecs for distance learning and video conferencing setup and administration.
Qualifications:
Two years relevant experience required and completion of Microsoft exam 70-271. Written and hands-on exam will be administered on above topics.
