Electrical Design Laboratory I - ELEN 490
Location: J B Moore Hall -Rm. 338, 311 and 315
Purpose of the
Lab: This laboratory is used to develop a working knowledge
of modern Semiconductor Circuits; To introduce the students to integration and
modern VLSI Technology;
To introduce physics of MOS devices, and provide the student with
firm grounding in the fundamentals of advanced semi-conductor devices.
Equipment/Apparatus: The following experimental set-ups are available for lab
use.

Optiplex GX150 computers

MATLAB

Multi-purpose
signal generators
·
Multi-meters;
·
resistors,
diodes, transistors
In addition to the above apparatus, this lab is equipped
with the following equipment: circuit-boards, miscellaneous components as labs
needed.
