Our laboratories and research facilities are constantly being updated in order to remain on the cutting edge of technology. All our faculty members have their terminal degrees, and with an average student/faculty ratio of 16 to 1, affords the professors the opportunity of imparting knowledge to the students in a conducive environment. The department currently offers a thriving graduate program option (M.S. degree) in Thermo-Fluids and Materials Engineering. We are planning to develop a doctoral program in Materials Science and Engineering that will build on the successes of our undergraduate and MS program.
A brief overview of the ME department program is presented here to demonstrate our current standing. For more detailed information on our wide-ranging educational and research activities, I invite you to examine the curriculum, laboratory, and faculty descriptions provided on this website.
If you have questions or would like further information, please feel free to contact us at our web-site postal or electronic addresses.
